Different types of overdenture solutions are available. The choice of attachment depends to great extent on the particular situation and on the dentist’s preferences as well as the indications of the particular attachment.

Healing abutments
Healing abutments are used for shaping the mucosa during the healing process and are for single use. Different types can be chosen depending on the type of construction to be made. By means of the markings, the height of the definitive abutment can easily be determined.
The standard healing abutment ø 4mm has a total height of 4 or 6mm. They both have height markings on 2mm and the largest one also has a height marking on 4mm.
Ball abutments
The Dyna ball attachment consists of a ball abutment and a Dalbo matrix. Dyna ball abutments are intended for increasing retention of (partial) dentures supported on implants. The corresponding matrixes are from Cendres + Métaux.
Dyna PrimeLOC abutments
The PrimeLOC Overdenture Attachment System is a further development of the leading Locator® attachment system, from Zest.
The PrimeLOC abutment coating is an extremely hard Zirconium Carbon Nitride (ZrCN) multilayer coating (Vickers Hardness Locator 2200, PrimeLOC 3200 ± 300).
The straight abutments consist of 1 part and are screwable with the regular Dyna Hex drivers, but also with the PrimeLOC or Zest screwdriver if required.
The angled 18° abutments provide a need for resolving divergences up to 65° and are screwable with regular Dyna Hex drivers.
Universal castable abutments
Screwed as well as cemented constructions for single tooth replacement as well as bridge constructions can be fabricated with Universal abutments with octagon. This abutment is available in a castable (POM) version.
