Infraframes

Infraframes

An infra frame is a metal base to reinforce a denture or partial denture, also called a frame denture or partial denture. To achieve the denture, the infra frame is colored by a pink, gum-colored synthetic resin and teeth are attached to it. Because the plate is made of metal, it is stronger than the resin plate of a plate denture, as it contains much more plastic. The prosthesis rests (partially) on the mucous membrane and on the other teeth in the mouth.

CADCAM options

Infraframes for strengthening the prosthesis are also part of the product gamma when ordering a CADCAM bar. Screw holes are always left free.

Options:

  • An Infraframe covering the female part (INFCOV)
  • An Infraframe where the female parts are not covered (INFUNC)
  • An Infraframe de luxe with a metal edge (upper prosthesis), where the female parts are covered (INFLUXC)
  • An Infraframe de luxe with a metal edge (upper prosthesis), where the female parts are not covered (INFLUXU)
  • An Infraframe de luxe with a metal rim (upper prosthesis), with a notch (INFLUX)
